🗺️ Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Da Lat → Vinh Hy Bay Breakfast & Lunch

  • Pick-up 8:00 AM. Da Lat countryside & craft stops: Van Thanh Flower Village, coffee plantation & weasel coffee, traditional rice wine, silk reeling & weaving.
  • Linh An Pagoda (72m Buddha) & viewpoint over Elephant Waterfall.
  • Admire the mountain panorama from Ngoan Muc Pass.
  • Visit Po Klong Garai Cham Towers.
  • Check in homestay/hotel (private room) at Vinh Hy Bay; free time to stroll the fishing village.

Day 2: Vinh Hy Bay → Nha Trang Breakfast & Lunch

  • One of Vietnam’s most beautiful coastal motorbike roads with island and village views; stop at any beach you like for a swim.
  • Optional early sunrise & boat to Turtle Island for swim/snorkeling.
  • Return to check out → ride the coastal road; visit salt fields.
  • Grape garden visit & picking at the garden (purchase fee not included).
  • Visit a local fishing village. Check in hotel in Nha Trang – free to walk or swim on the beach.

Day 3: Nha Trang → Lak Lake Breakfast & Lunch

  • Mountain route back to Lak Lake.
  • Long Son Pagoda (large white Buddha).
  • Visit the largest fishing port in Nha Trang & a brick-making kiln.
  • Conquer Phuong Hoang Pass & forest-crossing roads and villages (dry-season road; rainy season we use a different route; off-road skill required for the dry trail).
  • Explore a Red H’mong village (costumes & daily life).
  • Enjoy fresh pineapple at the farm (in season). Visit tobacco plantation and beautiful rice fields on the road.
  • Check in hotel at Lak Lake – enjoy sunset on the lake.

Day 4: Lak Lake → Waterfalls → Buon Ma Thuot Breakfast & Lunch

  • Row a wooden boat to admire sunrise and the natural beauty of Lak Lake.
  • Walk into Jun Village of the M’nong people; see traditional long houses and culture.
  • Visit the elephants and feed them (we do not ride elephants).
  • Try traditional pottery of the M’nong.
  • Immerse yourself in the cool waters of Buong Bip waterfall and have lunch here.
  • Visit Dray Nu – one of the largest waterfalls in the Central Highlands.
  • Cocoa garden – learn the process of making products from cocoa trees.
  • Check in a long house of the Ede minority; optional home-cooked family dinner (not included).

Day 5: Buon Ma Thuot → Kon Tum Breakfast & Lunch

  • Traditional craft villages making vermicelli noodles & rice paper.
  • Local mushroom farms.
  • Traditional blacksmithing of people from Nam Dinh.
  • Rubber plantation and hand-tapping latex.
  • Cashew orchard and pepper farm.
  • Lie in a hammock to relax and enjoy coffee.
  • Tea plantation views along the road → hotel check-in in Kon Tum.

Day 6: Kon Tum → Ho Chi Minh trail → Kham Duc Breakfast & Lunch

  • Visit the Rong House of the Bahna people in a Bahna village; admire traditional weaving.
  • The 150-year-old wooden church of Bahna & Sedang people.
  • Ride through rubber forests with breathtaking mountain views.
  • Old battlefields of Dakto – Tan Canh and Phuong Hoang airfield (Vietnam War).
  • Continue on the cross-border road with majestic mountain and forest scenery.
  • Se Trieng village with unique customs and outstanding buffalo community houses.
  • Take a waterfall bath after the long day; then check in hotel in Kham Duc.

Day 7: Kham Duc → Hoi An Breakfast

  • Ride across the Co Tu people’s suspension bridge and visit a Co Tu village.
  • Stop by the War Remnants Museum on the Ho Chi Minh Trail (when open/time allows).
  • Traditional craft village making incense and pressing peanut oil (seasonal).
  • Check in to your hotel in Hoi An – tour finishes.
